Add alternative text to images

Description

Alternative text is used to describe images in PDFs so that people who use screen readers can understand the content of images and objects.

Instructions

  1. To add alternate text to images, click on All tools.
  2. Select Prepare for accessibility.
  3. Click on Add alternate text.
  4. Click on Ok.
  5. Write your alternate text for the image in the box. Convey the purpose of the image in one or two sentences.
  6. If the image is decorative, check the box Decorative figure.
  7. Click on Save & Close after you have reviewed all the images in the PDF.
