Change the language setting in part of a PowerPoint presentation

Description

Change the language setting when parts of the presentation are in a different language to ensure correct spell checking and avoid unnecessary error markings.

Instructions

  1. Click on Check accessibility
  2. An Accessibility assistant side panel opens where PowerPoint displays accessibility issues
  3. Click on an issue to navigate to it in the presentation. Follow PowerPoint's suggestions to resolve the issue
  4. Click on Translate
  5. Select a language from the list
  6. Highlight the text in the presentation
  7. The translated text is displayed in the box
  8. Click on Insert to replace the text with the translation
  9. Highlight the text in the presentation
  10. Click on Language and choose Set proofing language
  11. Select the language the text is written in
  12. Click on Ok
