Make your own map pin
Description
Learn how to make your own map pin to bring your presentation to life.
Instructions
- Click on Insert.
- Click on Shapes.
- Choose the circle.
- Write the text that will be placed next to the map pin.
- Right-click on the circle.
- Go to Format Shape.
- Go to Size & Properties in the menu that appears on the right-hand side.
- Bring out the drop-down menu under the Text Box category.
- Make sure the checkbox next to Do not Autofit is checked in.
- Deselect the checkbox next to Wrap text in shape.
- Select the text that will be next to your map pin.
- Go to Font Color.
- Make sure to use a noticeable color that is easy to see.
- Decrease the font size by clicking the Decrease Fontsize button in the ribbon.
- Left-align the text by clicking on Align Left.
- Make the circle smaller.
- Increase the left margin by using the arrows next to Left margin in the menu to put the text outside the circle
- Now you have a map pin that you can easily duplicate and reuse.
